Proposed closure of the school - Formal consultation

To whom it may concern,

Education South West invites comments as part of formal consultation over the proposed closure of Kingswear Community primary School.

The period of consultation will run from June 3rd to June 28th 2024. Please make any comments to consultation@educationsouthwest.org.uk  by 5pm on Friday 28th June.

We now have a substantive decision on closure from the Minister from the Department for Education; this consultation seeks views on how to manage the closure of the school.

Should the school close, it is being recommended by Devon County Council that primary age children living in the current Kingswear Primary School catchment area should be eligible for free school transport to Dartmouth Academy, regardless of distance.
